The Balloon is an item in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble.

It looks like an orange helium balloon with the letter G on it.

Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble
Balloons are similar to Mint Leaves; they inflate Kirby, allowing him to fly and spit Air Blasts without stopping. Kirby can only fly for 15 seconds before the item's effects wear off, so he must be quick and collect more balloons to keep flying. These items can be found inside certain ? Holes, but are more often seen floating above ground--which means Kirby must fly or jump to catch them.
If Kirby consumes a Balloon and spits Air Blasts at Starman, the enemy is pushed back but not harmed. The more Air Blasts Kirby hits him with, the more points the player earns, and a long string of hits grants 1UPs.[1] As Balloons appear in the same stages Starman does, this seems to be his only intended purpose.
