Balloon Bomb

The Balloon Bomb^[1] is an item in Kirby's Return to Dream Land.

Its most common purpose is to clear the large, gold blocks which can only be destroyed by the Balloon Bomb, the Stomper Boot, and Super Abilities. When thrown at enemies and mid-bosses, it deals high damage in a large area.

It starts growing in size after being picked up, and explodes by itself if held for too long. The character holding it starts panicking when it is two sizes away from exploding, similar to Bomb Kirby when his readied bomb is about to explode, and enemies with bombs placed on their heads. It deals considerably less damage to player characters than it does to enemies.

It is featured in the Item Challenge.

AppearanceEdit

It is a large, black bomb with a skull symbol on it. The bomb is also adorned with star patterns.
