Bowby is an enemy in Kirby's Return to Dream Land and Kirby's Dream Collection: Special Edition. It resembles a bow with two angry eyes and a smug grin that floats in mid-air. When Kirby and/or his teammates walk underneath it, it shoots an arrow straight down in hopes of skewering them. Later, in Halcandra, it gets a redesigned appearance to fit with the planet's industrial theme. Other than this, it is no different from its Pop Star version. Bowby gives no ability when inhaled.

Bowby's Halcandran form appears in the Item Challenge. It appears in the New Challenge Stages in Kirby's Dream Collection: Special Edition as well. It appears in the Spark Challenge, the Fighter Combat Chamber, and Magolor Race 1 and 3. Its Halcandran form appears in the Normal Challenge and Magolor Race 3.

EtymologyEdit

Bowby's name is based on the word, "bow," a tool used to shoot arrows. This explains its appearance and attack.
