Cool Spooks are slow moving, ghost-like creatures that glow brightly. They do not try to attack Kirby and simply float around, but are the only source of the Light ability used to light up the rooms they appear in. They appear only in Kirby's Adventure and its remake, Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land.

Physical Appearance
Edit
Cool Spook is like a cross between an angel and a ghost, and is also luminescent. Originally, Cool Spooks wore an orange fez, had orange stripes on its lower body, and had a dull yellow tint. In the remake, Cool Spooks had slight alterations made to its earlier design. They now wear stark white sheets and have a gold halo above them rather than a fez. Cool Spooks also a have a blue choker around their necks. Cool Spooks are also known for wearing black sunglasses. It is unknown if Cool Spooks have eyes.
Trivia
Edit
- Cool Spook's Kirby's Adventure artwork depicts him wearing a fez cap, but in the game, he wears a halo.
- Cool Spooks generally appear where the Light ability is needed; however, the only exception is in the first stage of Yogurt Yard, where after Kirby enters any door in the first room of the stage, he must fall toward the floor of Star Blocks to encounter the Cool Spook in midair at about halfway through the sky.
