Double-Bladed Laser Sword is a combo ability from Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. Kirby gets it by mixing Cutter with Spark. Attacking with the blade swings it in a wide arc, protecting Kirby from projectiles fired from most angles. While the blade is out, however, Kirby can only jump once, and is not able to float. Crouching sheathes the blade.

The blade Kirby uses is a double-edged energy blade, possibly a reference to the double-edged version of the Lightsaber from the Star Wars franchise. The reference is enhanced by the notable humming sound it makes as it is held and swung. Nintendo Power even noted the similarity in its decription, where they described the use of the ability as "get[ting] all Darth Maul on enemies." Kirby can use this ability to gather a Crystal Shard on the fourth stage of Shiver Star, in which he needs to destroy a yellow and green part of a cage.
