Electro Sphere is a large enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby: Planet Robobot. It cannot be inhaled.
Physical Appearance
Electro Sphere is a large blue orb divided into eight segments. The spots on each segment and the lines dividing the segments are light green. Electro Spheres always appear in pairs, and are contained in a vast, spherical blue energy field. When releasing electricity, an Electro Sphere turns pink and yellow, and its energy field turns cyan.
Games
Kirby: Planet Robobot
Electro Spheres appear exclusively inside research facilities and the Access Ark. They act as a security device for the Haltmann Works Company. A pair of Electro Spheres floats around the outer edges of their energy field, occasionally pausing to release an electric shock. The two spheres move parallel to each other.
Electro Spheres are immune to Kirby's attacks. In Stage 4 of Gigabyte Grounds, however, the hero has access to Jet Robobot Armor, which can destroy the spheres in a few shots. When both Electro Spheres in a pair are destroyed, their energy field disappears and a star or a piece of food appears where its center was.
In Meta Knightmare Returns, Meta Knight can destroy Electro Spheres with his attacks.
