Embas are enemies in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby's Epic Yarn.
Physical Appearance[]
Embas are large red and orange flames with a small mouth and red and black button eyes.

Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn[]
Embas first appear in Lava Landing and then in Temper Temple and Meta Melon Isle. Emba's only attack is trying to burn Kirby and Prince Fluff by touching them. The only way they can be defeated is by using the Fire Engine form and continuously spraying them until they disintegrate; before they disintegrate, however, the water gradually shrinks them in size, making them a harder target to hit.
Etymology[]
Emba's name is a corruption of the word "ember," which is essentially what it is.
Its Japanese name, ヒノコ (Hinoko), comes from the Japanese word for ember/spark, ひのこ/火の粉 (Hinoko).
