Emp (Hayama in Japan) is a black penguin-like creature with a large orange beak and appears in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. Emp simply stands in place, and when Kirby comes near, Emp gets really scared and attempts to flee. Emp gives Kirby the Ice ability.

"Emp" is most likely diminutive of Emperor, a species of penguin. This is rather unusual, as Emp doesn't actually live up to his name and is instead rather afraid of Kirby. It doesn't even ressemble an Emperor Penguin.
