The Fairies are a race of small winged humanoids that live on the planet Ripple Star. Fairies tend to be a very kind and welcoming race. Their most noteworthy member is the fairy Ribbon who aided Kirby during his battle against the Dark Matter. They are ruled by the kindhearted Fairy Queen. No male fairies are ever seen in-game.
To date, this type of fairy has only appeared in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards.
Physical Appearance[]
Fairies appear to be relatively the same in terms of appearance, excluding the Fairy Queen. They have expressive eyes and small bodies with wings affixed to them. Fairies tend to wear dresses of similar appearance, but varying color. Their hair tends to feature lighter, brighter colors. Their clothes and body proportions are very similar to Angel.

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards[]
In Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, the fairies live on the peaceful planet Ripple Star, and watch over the fabled Crystal; an object key to defeating the Dark Matter. When the Dark Matter invade Ripple Star, the planet's peaceful atmosphere soon changes to disarray and the Fairy Queen is beside herself. A lone fairy named Ribbon joins forces with Kirby to save her home planet. She and Kirby save Ripple Star, and the fairies are happy once more.
