Crabbo is an enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby and the Rainbow Curse.

Physical Appearance[]

Crabbo is a red crab that has four blue legs, two pincers, a black mouth, and a white nose. He also has a white volcano-shaped structure atop his head.

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse[]

Crabbo appears exclusively in the stage Kirby Submarine's Torpedo Time. He remains firmly planted on the seabed and attacks by releasing mines from his head. These mines are encased in bubbles that rise upward through the water. Kirby Submarine can destroy them by spitting torpedoes or a super torpedo at them.

Etymology[]

Crabbo comes from the name of the animal it is based on, a crab.

Its Japanese name, カニル (Kaniru), comes from the Japanese word for crab, かに/蟹/蠏 (kani).
