Oro is a small yellowish-white blob with a face that usually stays flat on the ground, unless Kirby comes near, when it will unflatten.

Oro makes its debut in Kirby's Dream Land 3. It will stay flat on the ground until Kirby comes by him. When Kirby approaches, Oro will unflatten itself and try to surprise him. It gives no Copy Ability when inhaled.
Etymology[]
Oro means gold in Spanish and Italian. The enemy is likely named that because of its golden-yellow color.
Trivia[]
- Oro has a counterpart in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards called Sandman. Another enemy with a similar attack is Clayn, from Kirby's Return to Dream Land.
- Oro, HR-H, and Geg are the only characters in the Kirby series whose names are palindromes.
