Flame Cobra is a large enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby: Triple Deluxe.
Physical Appearance
Flame Cobra is a giant cobra statue made out of gold. It has reptilian eyes with red pupils. The statue's hood is adorned with horizontal stripes and its belly wears a four-pointed star pattern.
Games
Kirby: Triple Deluxe
Flame Cobra only appears in Stages 4 and 7 of Wild World and Stage 7 of Royal Road. It is never situated on a tangible plane--this makes it impossible for Kirby to attack it.
Flame Cobra aims carefully at Kirby and spits a fireball at him every few seconds. It will keep its gaze fixed on the hero no matter where he runs or flies in the general area; Flame Cobra can turn a full 360 degrees, allowing it to attack Kirby even when he switches planes with a 3D Warp Star. If the pink puff escapes the statue's range, Flame Cobra will stop attacking.
Trivia
- Flame Cobras can only be found inside ruin stages, similarly to Coily Rattler. They may have been constructed by the People of the Sky, as Coily Rattler's pause screen description implies that they had a fascination with snakes.
