It's hard to miss the plant called the Glutbulb. It's a big water-filled bulb that flickers with electricity when it's underwater. So hopefully there's some way to make it less wet.
— Daroach • Kirby Mass Attack

Glutbulbs are large enemies in Kirby Mass Attack. They are large flowers that are filled with water and contain either a melon or a medal.

Appearance and Attack

Glutbulbs are extremely rare enemies in the game, as there are only two in existence, both of them in the fourth room of Stage 7 in Dedede Resort. They attack by shooting two electric orbs diagonally, which electrocutes the Kirbys. The Kirbys have to hit its body when the water lowers in this level and make all of the water splash out, but they must be quick, as the water will rise again and Glutbulb will refill each time this happens. Upon defeat, the Glutbulb will disintegrate and give up the item suspended in its body.

Glutbulb's name is a combination of glut, meaning to fill, and lightbulb.

Related Quotes

In the sunken ship dwell bloated bubble creatures that guard a treasure. They're formidable foes, but they're less dangerous when not submerged. So attack them once they're out of the water.
