Grumples replaces Kabu in the Extra mode of Kirby's Dream Land. He is stronger than Kabu and has a meaner look in his face. He attacks just like Kabu by disappearing and then reappearing.
Grumples was absent from Kirby Super Star but he returns in Revenge of the King in Kirby Super Star Ultra.

Grumples has a pentagonal shape for a body and he has two semicircular eyes tilted down. In Kirby Super Star Ultra, his mouth resembles the shape of a boomerang.
