[edit] Attacks and Abilities
| Attack Name | Controls | Description | Element |
|---|---|---|---|
| Store Power | B or Y (Held) | Kirby charges up the jet's energy. It can be saved by jumping or guarding, allowing Kirby to move around freely; if Kirby lets the charge alone for too long, it will disappear and Kirby will have to start charging again. | Fire (exhaust) |
| Jet Kick | B or Y (Let go) | Kirby lunges forward, foot outstretched and kicks enemies, damaging them. | Fire (exhaust) |
| Jet Heading | B or Y (Let Go) (Midair) | Kirby dives forward, plowing through foes. | Fire (exhaust) |
| Jet Dash | B or Y (Let go) (Full power) | Kirby launches forward at high speed, ramming enemies. By pressing the B or Y button again a powerful blast of energy is shot out from the jet and released through Kirby's arms. This is known as the "Jet Cracker". | None |
| Jet Blow | B or Y (Let go) (Near Enemy) | Kirby sucks the enemy into his thruster and blasts it out the back, colliding with other enemies and dealing damage. | None |
| Rocket Dive | B or Y (Let go)+↓/↑/→ (Full Power) (Near Enemy) | Kirby grabs an enemy, then loops around in an arched plunge. | None |
| Hover | A (Midair) | Kirby's afterburn keeps him afloat in midair. | None |
| Ultra-jet Jump | A (Midair) (Full Power) | Kirby is launched into the air at high speed. Similar function to Hi-Jump. | None |
[edit] Kirby: Right Back At Ya!
Jet Kirby in the anime looks the same as the game version, and can move faster than the speed of sound, making it his fastest ability. The only attack he is shown using is 'Jet Cracker'. During the transformation sequence, a jet pack dashes past Kirby, spinning him. Coming toward him from the back, he runs toward the screen but it catches him and flips down shades. Jet is obtained once when Kirby inhales a bike's exhaust port, and another time when he inhales part of a hot air balloon. Despite Jet's speed, it isn't the best choice against certain enemies.
