I just had an idea. Because this is basically a place for character battles, why don't we rename the page "The Arena"? It would make things easier to understand for newer users, and basically makes more sense than having a constantly changing name. We can still have the changing setting (like how this time is Candy Constellation), but we would have the page (overall) called The Arena. -EmptyStar

[edit] This needs to become more orderly.
Yeah. I think we should archive this and create a new talk page. To promote this in a more orderly manner I think we should add these rules and guidelines for suggesting battles:
- The two combatants should be related in some way.
- definitely the most important one. A battle should have some meaning to it. So rather than suggesting things that aren't at all related like "Chilly vs. Marx Soul", try something like "Blipper vs. Squishy. The theme there being aquatic enemies. Essentially, having a basis to the battle really does make it easier to vote on.
- Try not to nominate combatants who were already in contests. Especially ones that already won.
- Not too much of a big one, but it's not good to establish "arena regulars". The contests should be jarring, and have something new every time. Sure, we all know Marx is the most epic character ever, but if we stick him in every time, it would get boring!
- Steer clear of final bosses.
- Most of the suggestions listed on the talk page is made up of final bosses. While they might make for an entertaining fight once in a while, most of them are very similar to each other and don't leave room for diversity in the battles. Contrary to common belief, having a fight against a final bosses every time would get REALLY boring after a while.
- Don't nominate 'nobodies'.
- Although "Pedo vs. Rockn" may fit all the above rules.... absolutely no one knows who they are! Just because you know who they are don't come to the conclusion that everyone else does! Many of our voters aren't members OR Kirby experts, so if you nominate things that nobody heard of, don't expect a big turn out.
- No team battles.... or at lest not yet.
- No. The ultimate battle isn't made up of 12 really popular/epic characters. Besides, how could we fit pictures of 6 characters on each side!? Oh, that's another thing, try to nominate things that we have official art for, because using sprites in the battle doesn't look right.

- Lololo and Lalala are practically counted as the same character and are never seen apart, so they're alright. But ones that consist of two completely different characters, like Dedede and Meta Knight aren't. Besides, would it really make a difference if i was just Meta Knight? I know this ALREADY HAPPENED in Kirby Super Star Ultra, but I totally think a rematch is in order. Maybe Galacta could carry the Master Sword instead of that stupid pink lance, or ditch the shield and use hand-to-hand combat. Plus, not even someone as EPIC as Meta Knight coukld destroy Galacta in one battle. It would take at least three. Perha[s play that Gourmet Race Remix from Super Smash Bros. I don't have an account, but I came up with a cool fight. Please note that one of these characters isn't from the Kirby series.
Pretty sweet, huh? I even came up with ways for each to beat the other! Here's my creative strategies for winning:
Kirby: Mario can shoot fireballs from his hands, so Kirby could swallow a fireball to obtain either the Fire or Burning ability. Or he could just spit it back out. Also Mario lands with heavy force when he jumps, and would probably make stars appear so Kirby could spit 'em out. Also a hammer attack could make stars appear. Mario occasionally kicks out a Koopa shell, SO Kirby could inhale it and spit it out.
Mario: Mario can jump on, smash with his hammer, shoot with fireballs at, or unleash a Koopa shell at Kirby. But he could aim those attacks well. He could instead double-jump on, throw his hammer at, shoot with blue fireballs at, or unleash a red Koopa shell at Kirby. He could even call Luigi, Yoshi, or Toad to help him. He could even eat a Mushroom.
Mario vs. Kirby is just one of the many combinations of Super Smash Bros. Brawl/Melee/Original fights, EVEN WITH NEW MOVES, besides, Mario is from his own series, so it won't fit in as well. -Marx

Here's a simple idea: Meta Knight vs Dedede. Why? Both are very recognizeable Kirby characters. Both are villains, but neither of them is really evil, they're more like antiheroes really. Both have fought Kirby several times, but have yet to meet on the field of battle (except in SSBB). Will the mysterious caped knight cut the self-proclaimed ruler of Dreamland to pieces with his trusty sword? Or will he end up squished by the might of the King's great hammer? A battle not to miss.
