Magic is one of Kirby's newer Copy Abilities. At first, Magic was a one-use ability in Kirby & the Amazing Mirror but was changed to a normal ability in Kirby Squeak Squad. The only enemy that Magic can be obtained from is the mini-boss Boxy.
Originally, its only function was a unique roulette wheel with several (usually somewhat impractical) outcomes. Now however, it is an advantageous ability which is appropriate in nearly any circumstances. In all games the Magic ability is rather hard to come across, and can only be acquired by eating Boxy.
Magic currently features a whole slew of rather deadly (yet certainly light-hearted) magic tricks ranging from a flock of doves, razor-sharp cards, and even the original roulette feature. Its trademark is a recherché top hat adorned with a snazzy gold ribbon.

If it lands on the ?, Kirby gets a random ability (but final abilities like Master or Triple Star will never be gotten). If it lands on the 1up, all enemies & mid-bosses (with defeated) on-screen become 1ups. If it lands on the cherry, all enemies & mid-bosses (with defeated) on-screen become food. If it lands on the Invincibility Candy, Kirby becomes invincible for a short period of time. If it lands on Meta Knight's Sword, Meta Knight will come and slice through all enemies on screen. In Squeak Squad Meta Knight is replaced by a more fitting Fireworks display with the same effect. In Squeak Squad, Kirby must first acquire a Copy Scroll to use this. | None |

[edit] Trivia
- As with most abilities, the color of the cards, clown head, the band on the hat, and doves are often altered to match the color of Kirby when Spray Paint is used on him.
- If Kirby waits long enough without moving, a tiny door will open on the hat and a Kirby figure will come out and circle the hat, trip, then go back in and the door will close (only in Squeak Squad).
