Missile is one of Kirby's Copy Abilities.

General Information

Missile is one of Kirby's more risky Copy Abilities. It first appeared in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror. Upon swallowing the careless Bang-Bang or a similar enemy such as Bombar, Kirby gains this ability. Upon activating the ability, Kirby takes the form of a missile and is able to soar through the sky with the greatest of ease. In this form, it packs quite a punch; possibly the biggest downside is that the missile can be very hard to control, and Kirby can easily take damage if he isn't very careful (in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, while spinning literally out of control upon exploding, Kirby is susceptible to damage; any enemy that touches any part of the missile, except for its tip, inflicts damage to Kirby mid-flight). Missile is one of the few abilities that break Metal Blocks, this one by ramming straight through them. Even in Kirby: Canvas Curse, when the player is able to control the missile's path with the stylus, it can still be difficult (although, controlling flight is significantly easier here than in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror.)

Kirby can transform into a missile in mid-air, and can even fly underwater in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror.

Kirby wears a simple red and yellow cap resembling the front end of the missile when he's not in the actual missile form.

Move Set

Move Controls Description Element
Launch/Explode B/Tap with Stylus Kirby becomes a missile; concerning mid-flight control, Missile Kirby has terrible response and his flight speed ranges greatly during maneuvers. When Kirby collides with something (or presses "B" mid-air in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror), a small explosion occurs and any enemies caught in the blast take damage. In Canvas Curse, he can go through enemies, so this is not a problem, but he still blows up when he collides with a wall. Note that in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, while Kirby is in his normal form, pressing "B" will automatically launch Kirby in a diagonal direction (upward to the right), unless the Directional Pad is held beforehand.
