The first turn features a large worm creature in a pit called "Ant Doom". The worm will eat the racers if they get too close and spit them back towards the starting line, but will very occasionally spit them ahead to the top bridge instead. Falling into the pit and getting caught by the worm count as different events, and both are required by the Checklist. The worm will periodically go berserk and toss boulders which makes racers spin out of control if they get hit. Above the Ant Doom pit is a golem constructed from a cluster of rocks. It may occasionally collapse, pushing away any racers nearby and limiting their abilities to avoid the worm.
The top stretch has two bridges, the lower one providing a faster route, but crumbles after several racers pass over it. Against CPU racers, it usually crumbles after the first lap as they almost always take the bottom route. The final turn is quite large, and a well-timed boost can shave a whole second off the lap, but a sinkhole appears after several passes over it and forces a large detour around it.
The lower bridge in the top stretch doesn't crumble when playing in Free Play Mode.
