Searches are uncommon enemies appearing in Kirby's Return to Dream Land and Kirby's Dream Collection: Special Edition. They have a similar appearance to a Flamer, having the same body shape. Searches are black with four red buttons and a yellow center. They have angry eyes and are sensitive to touch. If Kirby or any of his friends come near a Search, it will self-destruct destroying anything in the blast radius. Searches are the only source of the Crash ability in the game, besides Mix and the Crash Copy Essences offered in The Arena and The True Arena.

Search appears in the Whip and Bomb Challenges of Kirby's Return to Dream Land. It appears in the New Challenge Stages in Kirby's Dream Collection: Special Edition as well. It appears in the Wing Challenge.
