[edit] Apperance
Shotzo is a small black cannon that fires bullets. Some Shotzo swivel around to aim at Kirby, while others stay aimed in one place and shoot when Kirby comes near or shoot at a timed volly of three cannon balls in one direction. Two variations of it are Wall Shotzo and Flame Shotzo.
[edit] Games
[edit] Kirby's Dream Land
Shotzo can be found in any of the stages except Green Greens. It is always attached to some surface where it fires cannon balls at Kirby or a fixed point. It is an indestructible enemy and cannot be killed, stopped, or defeated. Some of them are set on a fixed angle while others have a swiveling head that hunts down Kirby.
In Bubbly Clouds a Shotzo can even be seen dangling from a Parasol firing shots downward at Kirby and in Float Islands Shotzo will sometimes appear below the surface of the water firing shots up at Kirby as he flies by. These two variations have never appeared in another Kirby game.
Shotzo is replaced in Extra Game by Blatzy. Its replacement fires shots at a much faster pace.
Shotzo can be destroyed by using the Mike, or being Invincible and standing in it for a short amount of time.
[edit] Kirby's Adventure and Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land
Shotzo is mostly unchanged from its appearence in Kirby's Dream Land, however, some Shotzo will float down on parasols separating from them when they land or are attacked. Kirby cannot inhale the parasol while it is attached to Shotzo. However, if Kirby has the Throw ability, he can catch and destroy Shotzo while it is descending with the parasol. There are also Shotzo that appear on top of Star Blocks suspended over pits. If Kirby destroys the Star Block the Shotzo will plummet down the pit destroying it.
From here on out, Shotzo has appeared in all of the Kirby game, being nearly the same as before.
