Spectacle Space is the twenty-first stage of Kirby: Canvas Curse. It is the last stage of Wonder Lilane. It follows after Mad Mechanism and precedes The World of Drawcia.

General info

Spectacle Space is what became of Planet Popstar's galaxy when Drawcia turned Dream Land into a world of paint. This is the second-to-last level, and definitely one of the hardest ones at that. The first part of the level has multiple Bloons and tons of spikes everywhere. In fact, the spikes are so narrow that Kirby can only barely fit inside, so the paintbrush has to take extreme caution. The second part involves electrical, floating pieces of platforms scattered around the space, which is hard to navigate as the map can only handle a small part of the stage. Kirby must press both the green and purple switches inconveniently located exactly parallel from each other, which means one is at the extreme top right corner, and one is at the extreme bottom left corner. The final part of the stage is a wall of space matter trying to crush Kirby behind a platform. It's no use hiding in front of them, as there are spikes. Even if Kirby manages that, flying boulders will start flying out of nowhere and trying to crush Kirby. After all of this madness, the final door is finally seen.

KNiDL Nightmare Wizard
Nightmare is the true antagonist, villain, and boss in Kirby's Adventure and Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land, and the brains behind Nightmare Enterprises in Kirby: Right Back at Ya!. In the games, he desires the Star Rod to spread bad dreams throughout Dream Land, whereas in the anime he simply desires to rule the known universe by force and subversion.

When played with the Old School music option on, Spectacle Space's theme changes to the mid-boss theme from Kirby's Adventure.

Trivia

  • It is one of two levels in the game that has its own unique level design, the other is The World of Drawcia, the final stage of the game.
  • The music that plays in this level is a remix of Nightmare's theme from Kirby's Adventure, although it is not immediately apparent as space-like sound effects have been added.
