Starship is a Helper in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby Super Star.
Physical Appearance[]
The Starship has the appearance of a sideways 5-pointed star with thrusters out the end and a round cockpit with a blue window.
Games[]
Kirby Super Star and Kirby Super Star Ultra[]
Starship appears in Milky Way Wishes upon entering Galactic Nova and when fighting Galactic Nova Nucleus. This Helper only appears in multiplayer, replacing the current Helper (but retaining its identity when reverting from Starship); if a Starship Helper is summoned during the segment, the Helper that appears in the battle with Marx will be random. It is the only Helper for a Final Weapon, as well as the only Helper not to have an enemy variant.
In Kirby Super Star Ultra, the Starship also appears in Mt. Dedede Sky when fighting Kabula.
Trivia[]
- The Starship is the only Helper in Kirby Super Star Ultra that is not used in Helper to Hero, due to the fact that it only appears in the battle with Galactic Nova Nucleus and Kabula.
- When the Helper survives the boss, it appears in the next scene as a random playable Helper. This may imply that the Starship is merely being piloted by the Helper from the inside and that it is not sentient.
- The Starship is also the only Helper without an equivalent enemy.
- In Kirby Super Star, the Starship is called "Helper" in its Helper icon. This was changed in the remake, however, having it share the same name with the ability.
- Although the Starship was given a unique icon in Kirby Super Star, it re-uses the Starship ability's icons in the remake.
