Lack of Videos[]
Why exactly do people keep taking down the videos of Boss Endurances that I upload? The True Arena articles and the Helper to Hero articles retain the videos, but does this one? NO! SOMEONE HAS SOME EXPLAINING TO DO.Kirby128 (talk) 04:00, March 5, 2013 (UTC)

Merge the Survival Rush and the Boss Endurance[]
Well, the title says everything (almost), well do you think. They are absolutely the same thing, so why not merge it? LuisYKW12 (talk, workshop) The True Age of Light and Darkness will Begin 20:21 15, July 2016 (UTC-03:00) Brasília
- I see your point. They do have some differences, though, like allowing the Kirbys to heal after every round and giving the player some choice over what order to battle bosses in. NerdyBoutKirby the EYES! 23:53, July 15, 2016 (UTC)
- In this case, I have to agree with Luis. The sub-games are greatly similar, and the info on the Survival Rush page would fit on the Kirby: Mass Attack section on this page. Paul2 ➨ ➨ You've been... robobotized! 20:38, July 17, 2016 (UTC)
- Yes,I agree with the mergingi am pikapika200 (talk) 15:50, October 3, 2018 (UTC)
- In my opinion, Survival Rush should be merged with Boss Endurance since the latter concept originated first. HarmonyBunny (talk) 09:35, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
Kirby's Dream Land 3 PERFECT Boss Butch Screen?[]
I thought I'd see something about this in the Wiki but I guess this is one of those weird videogame secrets lol.
Anyway, lately I've seen this rumor of Kirby's Dream Land 3 having a PERFECT screen just like Kirby 64 does, but apparently it's very rare. Even if you beat the Boss Butch mode without taking damage the screen will simply not appear, however, the song that must play along the screen sounds for a fraction of a second before the Boss Butch Ending starts.
The Japanese Wikipedia article for the game acknowledges this screen and goes something like this:
"If you make an input after defeating the last boss while the screen fades to black, the Staff Roll will not play, but an image in an analogic tone with Kirby, the bosses defeated and a "PERFECTt!" text will appear instead."
I did follow the instructions but unfortunately nothing happened, just the thing I mentioned in the second paragraph.
This is supposedly the screen that appears:
There's just a few pics of it in google images, just search the japanese title of the game along with "boss butch" or "perfect" and results will pop out. There's also a video of it in Niconico , the screen appears after the player defeated Zero.
Anyway, I found this to be particularly strange and I thought a good place to talk about it would be here, especially since this is basically a page to document Kirby stuff.

- I’ve heard ths rumor before, and it’s intriguing. What bothers me, however, is that The Spriters Resource does not have this image, but has every other image from Boss Butch. IqskirbyBihm Masheen Gahn! 23:16, June 2, 2018 (UTC)
- I have never heard about this. I will try to verify the existence of this screen by beating Boss Bush without taking damage, and holding different buttons during the fade to black.

- That sounds masochistic, but be my guest. Consider using an emulator so you can exploit save states and the like. May also want to try and see if it's a Japanese-only thing. IqskirbyBihm Masheen Gahn! 23:54, June 2, 2018 (UTC)
- I have beaten Zero with all my health remaining, and tried a bunch of different button combinations. No matter what I pressed, and when I did it, I couldn't get a "PERFECT!" screen to appear. Just the staff credits. I'll try on the Japanese version.
I have tried the Japanese version, and beat Zero again. Sadly, nothing that I tried resulted in the "PERFECT!" screen. I think that screen is a hoax. - Scrooge200 (talk) 00:47, June 3, 2018 (UTC)
- What is weirder is that most of the images come from japanese blogs of people that claim having got the screen. Since they're normal blogs (it's common in Japan to have a personal blog), I doubt they are posting fake stuff and just want people to believe them especially because there are big gaps between post dates (latest one is from 2013, oldest one is from 2009).
- On the other hand, as I said, the song still plays for a little bit but then it stops and the Staff Roll starts, you can see what I'm talking about here. Oh and by the way, if I didn't explain myself correctly, it's the music test song that's supposed to play with the screen. I confirmed that little bit is the song I'm talking about because I made a SPC dump just when it's supposed to play.
- My theory is that it may be a bug and it was probably fixed at later releases, thus there isn't a ROM dump of that version because it's probably rare and few people have it.
- Pinci (talk) 01:32, June 3, 2018 (UTC)
- Okay, I've solved this mystery! By holding down the button combination X+L+R after beating Zero in Boss Butch, the Perfect screen will show up! It works on both the English and Japanese versions of the game.

- Amazing! this may be a great discovery because literally nobody knew about it (except for a few japanese guys)
