The True Arena is a sub-game in Kirby's Return to Dream Land. It is unlocked after completing EX Mode. Like in Kirby Super Star Ultra, The True Arena is a revamped version of The Arena.

During the first phase, the first ten bosses are fought randomly. After they are defeated, the door to the bosses is replaced with a dimension portal, the background becomes somewhat brighter, the music changes, and there will be a Sleep Copy Essence aside a different one. The final five are fought in a set order. After beating this mode, Player 1 will be able to play as Meta Knight, King Dedede, or Waddle Dee, as well as the default, Kirby.
