"Try throwing enemies straight! Press Up and Down to change the direction!"
—Throw's Flavour Text, Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland
Throw is one of Kirby's many copy abilities, that first appeared in Kirby's Adventure. Obviously, it specializes in Throws.
Kirby inhales the enemy to grab it and then throws it in some direction. This will kill most enemies hit by the thrown enemy. The thrown enemy will always die.
Having this power is a lot like having none, except the thrown enemy is as powerful as a double star.
Throws cannot be performed on any enemies that Kirby can't inhale, like bosses and Mini-Bosses (although in some games, Kirby can Throw the defeated mini-boss.)
Kirby can also grab and throw blocks and stars or projectiles created by bosses, so this power isn't helpless against them.
Throw can take on an element with a Copy Scroll, if an enemy is thrown that gives either Fire, Ice, or Spark abilities when it is inhaled.
Throw's headband is similar to that of Suplex in that it is blue (though the Throw headband is in a lighter shade).
Also, Throw Kirby cannot inhale items with this ability.

[edit] In Kirby: Right Back at Ya!
Throw was featured in the anime once, in Episode 094 ,and was one of the last abilities to appear in the series, Throw's identity isn't clear to any of the characters at first (not even Meta Knight) until he starts to throw his opponent around. Like in the game version, Kirby first uses his inhale to grab them. Throw Kirby's most powerful move is the Tornado Throw, which throws the enemy clear out of the atmosphere.
