Since the Mini Direct came out, I'm sure we've all seen the Kirby bit, and probably were in some form of awe. If not, you can watch it here. Despite the short clip being a little over a minute, it still offers a rather substantial amount of info, especially when tied with the other videos. So, what are you excited for in particular, or what did you see that made you think?
I'm personally excited for the return of Suplex, since I'm a grappler. Artist seems to be a sort of throwback to Paint, and I'm wondering if it'll replace it like Magic's second appearance, or if it'll be more inline with Fire/Burning, Ice/Freeze, Spark/Plasma, or even Cupid/Archer. Speaking of Plasma, apparently its in the game, not Spark. Weird change in my opinion, since what happened in Return to Dream Land. Regarding that info, Plugg has finally returned, as the enemy and helper, ever since his appearance in Kirby 64. They need more K64 enemies to return.
I've made note of games coming out on "anniversary years" (5 or 10 years after another game), and this game does the same. 10 years ago was Kirby Super Star Ultra, the last Kirby game to have Helpers. 20 years ago, Kirby's Dream Land 3 was released in Japan, the only game to have Cleaning, star Nago, ChuChu, and Pitch in non-cameo roles, and the debut of Adeleine the artist.
